Wu Aiguo, an old teacher, was surrounded by students. The children found this experimental lesson on "strength and movement" extremely interesting. This semester, Wu Aiguo will teach two grades of science and music. Wu Aiguo is 59 years old. In 1981, he graduated from high school and became a private teacher of primary school. He came to Beiciying Village, Yangcheng County to teach. "At that time, the school was located in an ancient temple. It rained heavily in summer and leaked rain. In winter, it had to fire charcoal for heating. The conditions were very difficult." Recalling the past, Wu Aiguo couldn't help sighing. In 1984, Wu Aiguo was admitted to Jincheng Normal School and became a formal teacher after graduation. Over the years, Wu Aiguo has taken root in the mountain col of his hometown. "He will go wherever he needs." Wu Aiguo witnessed the changes of the times and the progress of education. In 2007, many villages and small schools in Ciying Town merged and established the central school of Ciying Town. There are clean and tidy school buildings, multimedia classrooms and standardized playgrounds. The school has also set up a rural children's palace and seven interest classes such as dance, music and art. The conditions of primary schools in mountainous areas are getting better and better. The central school of Ciying Town is also a boarding school, and most of the students are left behind children. Wu Aiguo gets along with them day and night, hoping to make children's childhood more warm and happy. More than 40 years later, Wu Aiguo has taught in seven rural primary schools, including Chinese, mathematics, science and music, half of which was a head teacher. "I was born and grew up here, and I didn't feel the hardship of teaching in the village primary school." Day after day's protection turned into his simple words. The central school in Ciying Town had 700 students at the most. With more and more students going to the city to study, there are only about 100 students left.
