Later, the Mengtian experimental module will be transposed as planned, and the Mengtian experimental module will form a basic configuration combination of "T" of the space station with Tianhe core module and Tianwen experimental module. At 15:37 on October 31, 2022, Beijing time, the Long March 5B Remote IV carrier rocket carrying the Mengtian experimental module of the space station ignited and launched on time at Wenchang Space Launch Site in China. About 8 minutes later, the Mengtian experimental module and the rocket successfully separated and entered the scheduled orbit, making the launch mission a complete success. The Mengtian experimental cabin is the third and second scientific experimental cabin of the China Space Station. It is composed of a working cabin, a load cabin, a cargo airlock and a resource cabin. The takeoff weight is about 23 tons. It is mainly used to carry out space science and application experiments, participate in the management of the space station assembly, and the cargo airlock can support the automatic entry and exit of cargo, providing support for scientific experiments inside and outside the cabin.
