The 37th Session of the Standing Committee of the 13th National People's Congress closed at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on the morning of the 30th. At the meeting, the newly revised Law on the Protection of Women's Rights and Interests, the Yellow River Protection Law and the newly revised Animal Husbandry Law were passed by vote; It was decided to remove Chen Wenqing from the post of Minister of National Security and appoint Chen Yixin as Minister of National Security. The meeting voted and adopted the decision of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress on ratifying the Treaty between the People's Republic of China and the Republic of Kenya on Criminal Judicial Assistance, the decision on ratifying the Treaty between the People's Republic of China and the Republic of the Congo on Criminal Judicial Assistance, the decision on ratifying the Treaty between the People's Republic of China and the Kingdom of Morocco on Criminal Judicial Assistance Decision on Ratifying the Treaty between the People's Republic of China and the Republic of Ecuador on Criminal Judicial Assistance, and Decision on Ratifying the Convention for the Suppression of Unlawful Acts Related to International Civil Aviation. At the meeting, the National People's Congress Ethnic Affairs Committee, the Supervision and Justice Committee, the Finance and Economic Committee, the Education, Science, Culture and Health Committee, the Foreign Affairs Committee, the Environment and Resources Protection Committee, and the Social Construction Committee voted to approve their respective reports on the results of the deliberation of the bills and proposals submitted by the deputies entrusted by the Presidium of the Fifth Session of the 13th National People's Congress. The meeting voted to approve the report of the Credentials Committee of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress on the qualifications of individual representatives. The meeting voted to remove Shi Taifeng from the post of Vice Chairman of the Education, Science, Culture and Health Committee of the National People's Congress. The meeting voted to remove Yang Xiaochao and Xu Lingyi from their posts as deputy directors of the National Supervisory Commission, appoint Sun Xinyang, Liu Xuexin and Zhang Fuhai as deputy directors of the National Supervisory Commission, remove Lu Xi, Bai Shaokang, Chen Chaoying, Jiang Xinzhi, Ling Zhi and Cui Peng from their posts as members of the National Supervisory Commission, and appoint Wang Xiaoping, Wang Aiwen, Xu Luode, Li Xinran, Zhao Shiyong, Yu Bai and Mu Hongyu as members of the National Supervisory Commission. The meeting passed the decision of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress to accept Cheng Lifeng's request to resign as a member of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress. The meeting also voted on other proposals for appointment and removal.
