At 16:30 p.m. on October 25, all Taoist staff of Chenghuang Temple in Suzhou carried out a special study in the lecture hall. Taoist Priest Sun Zhigang and Taoist Priest Ge Yongzong, deputy directors of the Chenghuang Temple Management Committee in Suzhou, conveyed the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress to all Taoist staff, requiring them to deeply study and understand the essence of the report of the 20th CPC National Congress, support the "two establishment", strengthen the "four consciousness", strengthen the "four self-confidence", achieve the "two maintenance", enhance the "five identification", and unify their thoughts and actions into the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress, In the new era, we are moving towards a new journey. According to the new deployment, we should put forward new requirements, be confident and self reliant, be honest and innovative, work hard, and forge ahead bravely. We should work together with the Party and the government, consciously resist various religious extremist ideas, and jointly safeguard social stability. At the meeting, Taoist Priest Xiong Jianwei, director of the Chenghuang Temple Management Committee in Suzhou, pointed out that the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China had pointed out the direction for the healthy and orderly development of religious work in the future. In addition to meeting the above requirements, all Taoist staff should seriously do the following four aspects in their future work: first, adhere to patriotism and love of education, comprehensively govern education strictly, internalize socialist core values into the heart and externalize them in practice, and strive to serve the society. Second, we should put the spiritual knowledge of the Twentieth National Congress of the Communist Party of China into practice, study deeply and thoroughly, work deeply and realistically, and adhere to the Chinese orientation of Taoism.
