On July 24, the Long March 5B Yao-3 carrier rocket carrying the Tianwen experimental module flew into the sky at Wenchang Space Launch Site, successfully completing its mission. Not long ago, the Mengtian experimental module also arrived at Wenchang Space Launch Site. In recent years, the Xichang Satellite Launch Center, which manages and uses the Wenchang Space Launch Site, has been focusing on practical needs, and has continued to strengthen core capacity building in accordance with the national space development plan. As a new generation of space launch site, Wenchang Space Launch Site has been equipped with the high-density launch capability of a new generation of carrier rocket since its construction and use, and has become a new generation of high thrust carrier rocket launch site in China and an important bridgehead for deep space exploration in China. Looking back on the construction and development of the launch site, we experienced the thrilling three hours behind the success of the first flight of Long March 5, and also suffered the helplessness and regret of the failure of Long March 5 Yao-2 rocket launch. It took more than 900 days to overcome difficulties, and finally realized the Long March 5 rocket soaring into the sky and won great achievements. The achievements are exciting and the journey is not endless. From the launch tower on the coast of the South China Sea to the accusation center hidden in the coconut forest, the spacemen have bravely undertaken the mission and made unremitting efforts on the way to pursue the sea of stars, which will surely make space shine more Chinese satellites. Wang Yuan's artificial intelligence technology demands more and more computing power, power consumption and intelligence of traditional computing systems. It is particularly critical to find new computing architectures and chip technologies to solve these problems. In 2017, Academician Huang Ru led me to devote myself to the new scientific and technological field of brain like computing chips and find a new path for the development of artificial intelligence technology. Brain like computing chip, as its name implies, hopes to realize a computing system similar to human brain through integrated circuit technology. Compared with the existing artificial intelligence technology, brain like computing technology has unique advantages in real-time processing, small sample learning, associative memory and other high-level intelligent tasks. At that time, the domestic research foundation was relatively weak. We started from the basic principles of biological brain analysis and fought with scientists in different fields such as biology, neurocomputing, and computing science day and night. After five years, we have successfully developed a brain like computing chip, which has shown significant advantages in "perception decision control" and other application fields. We will seize the peak in the field of artificial intelligence and create new advantages for development.
