Recently, the Guangdong Institute of Intelligent Science and Technology (hereinafter referred to as the "Institute") Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Brain Intelligence Engineering Center and Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Brain Intelligence Engineering Research Association were established in Macao, which will promote the research of technological principles, research and development of key technologies and industrial applications of brain intelligence technology. It is understood that the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area Brain Intelligence Engineering Research Association is a non-profit organization registered in Macao by the Institute of Intelligence to strengthen exchanges in brain science and intelligent technology in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area. This is an important part of the future development of the Smart Academy, and also an important part of the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Brain Intelligence Engineering Center, laying a solid foundation for the Smart Academy to be based in Macao and move towards the world. Relying on a high-level talent team and a new R&D institution with high-end scientific and technological innovation resources, the Intelligent Institute, centering on the three major directions of "brain perception and cognition, brain like intelligent computing, and neural network computing", strengthens the cooperation mechanism between industry, university and research by integrating superior scientific research resources, and constantly explores a new track integrating scientific and technological innovation and institutional innovation. At present, Hengqin Guangdong Macao Deep Cooperation Zone focuses on the development of four major industries and accelerates the gathering of innovative resources to support high-quality development. Among them, there are 20 national and provincial science and technology innovation platforms, such as science and technology business incubators and new research and development institutions, which continuously inject new momentum into Macao's diversified industrial development. At the same time, taking the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Brain Intelligence Engineering Research Association as an opportunity, Hengqin Guangdong Macao Deep Cooperation Zone will further strengthen exchanges and cooperation with Macao in science and technology research and development and achievements transfer and transformation, give full play to Macao's advantages as an international free port, and attract international talents, projects, funds and other innovative elements to Qinhuangdao.
