In my mind, this play won another "prize". After watching the play, many audiences said, "I also want to do something for others and the society like Guimei." This is the highest praise from the audience, and it also makes me deeply feel that it is "worthwhile" to write this play. Just as planting seeds can produce plants, so can creation. Moving from the heart is the seed of art. The original intention of the play "Teacher Guimei" is because of an indescribable emotion. In 2009, I created a short play "Heart of Gratitude" for the TV show "Model of Yunling". Because of the need to record the program, the TV station received Teacher Guimei to Kunming two days in advance. Guimei put down her bag and went to Kunming Railway Station to collect money. She put the red banner "Love, let the girls in the mountains read" in the corner of the square. Later, the station police called the TV station to ask if there was a Yunling model named Zhang Guimei. I imagined Teacher Guimei collecting money in the bustling station square. My heart was pricked for a moment. At that time, I decided to write a large-scale drama. In 2020, when I finally started writing, I had mixed feelings. A scene always appeared in front of me: on the high mountain, teacher Guimei led a girl to walk forward, and the girl looked at the direction of the school in trance. Everyone has strings in their hearts. When the materials of life come, they will be plucked when they feel a certain touch. For the creators, whether they can play a moving melody after plucking the strings depends on their creative skills. In my opinion, writing heroes and heroines should be grounded, that is, they are similar to you, me and him (her) in human nature, which is the basis for the audience to believe him (her). In the process of shaping Teacher Guimei, I extracted 6 kinds of character colors: she is as vulnerable as ordinary people, and she will cry alone when she thinks of her dead lover; Have the tenacity and tenacity beyond ordinary people; The principle of Party spirit is strong, and in the face of difficulties, it always radiates a powerful force...
