The meeting adopted the list of candidates (draft) for members and alternate members of the 20th Central Committee and members of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, who were pre elected by the delegations on a competitive basis, and decided to submit the list to the delegations for deliberation. It is understood that since October 19, delegations have carefully deliberated on the list of candidates for members and alternate members of the 20th Central Committee and members of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection proposed by the Political Bureau of the 19th Central Committee and approved by the Presidium of the General Assembly. The delegates believed that the list was formed through strict organizational procedures and full promotion of intra party democracy. It gathered the party's ruling backbones and outstanding representatives from all regions, departments, fronts and industries. The overall quality was good, the structure was reasonable, the distribution was balanced, and the mass base was good. It was a well considered plan. On the afternoon of October 20 and the morning of October 21, the General Assembly held plenary meetings of all delegations, and conducted preliminary elections for members of the Central Committee, members of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and alternate members of the Central Committee. In accordance with the provisions of the election method of the General Assembly, the preliminary election adopts the method of differential election, and the differential ratio is more than 8%. Under the leadership of the presidium of the General Assembly and under the supervision of the scrutineers, the whole pre election work is carried out in strict accordance with the election methods of the General Assembly, and the pre election results are legal and effective. In accordance with the provisions of the election methods and the schedule of the General Assembly, on the afternoon of the 21st, the Assembly held a group meeting of delegations to deliberate on the list of candidates for members of the Central Committee, alternate members of the Central Committee and members of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection approved by the third meeting of the Presidium.
