The presidium of the 20th National Congress of the CPC held its second meeting in the Great Hall of the people on the afternoon of the 18th. The meeting adopted the draft resolution on the report of the 19th Central Committee, the draft resolution on the work report of the 19th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the draft resolution on the Constitution (Amendment) of the CPC, which were submitted to all delegations for discussion. Chen Xi, Deputy Secretary General of the General Assembly, made a statement on the proposed list of candidates for members and alternate members of the 20th Central Committee and members of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection. At the meeting, the proposed list of candidates for members and alternate members of the 20th Central Committee and members of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection was approved and submitted to all delegations for deliberation. The meeting adopted the election method of the General Assembly, which was deliberated by the delegations.
