On the 16th, with the last simple supported beam weighing 900 tons stably falling on No. 8 to No. 9 piers of No. 24 Bridge of Yawan High Speed Railway, the box girder erection of the whole line of Indonesia Yawan High Speed Railway was successfully completed, and the track laying channel was fully opened, laying a solid foundation for the completion and opening to traffic in June 2023. Ya'an Wanzhou High speed Railway has a total length of 142km, with 3 beam yards (1, 2 and 4), which are responsible for the erection of all 2558 box girders in sections. The box girder erection tasks undertaken by No. 1 and No. 4 beam yards were completed in June and September respectively. The No. 2 beam yard is responsible for the erection of 474 box girders from No. 4 Bridge to No. 24 Bridge of Ya'an Wanzhou High speed Railway. The construction unit overcame the difficulties such as delayed handover of subgrade and bridge working faces under the line, and erection of beams with super gradient, and completed the erection task on schedule, drawing a successful end to the erection of box girders throughout the line. At present, 2558 box girders of the whole Ya'an Wanzhou High speed Railway have been erected, 13 tunnels have been completed, and more than 92% of the subgrade and station civil works have been completed. The whole line has turned to the ballastless track slab laying process. The high-speed EMUs and comprehensive inspection trains tailored for Yawan High Speed Railway arrived in Indonesia on September 1. Connecting Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, and Bandung, the fourth largest city of Indonesia, the yavan high-speed railway is a landmark project of the "the Belt and Road" initiative and practical cooperation between China and Indonesia. It is also the first overseas construction project of China's high-speed railway in the whole system, all factors and all industrial chains. (Liu Xinshe)
