On the morning of October 12, Guangdong Enterprise Confederation and Guangdong Entrepreneur Association released the list of "2022 Guangdong Top 500 Enterprises" and "2022 Guangdong Top 500 Enterprise Development Report" in Guangzhou. The list shows that the total operating revenue of the "2022 Guangdong Top 500 Enterprises" reached 17.01 trillion yuan. Among them, there are 34 enterprises with an operating income of more than 100 billion yuan, and the total operating income of 34 enterprises is 10.24 trillion yuan, accounting for 60.17% of the total operating income of the 2022 Guangdong Top 500 Enterprises. The distribution of the industry highlights the background of the manufacturing industry as a province. In the list, the number of manufacturing enterprises increased by 23 over the previous year, accounting for 53%. The operating income of 265 manufacturing enterprises shortlisted reached 7.13 trillion yuan, accounting for 41.92% of the total operating income. In addition, the profitability of manufacturing enterprises was significantly enhanced, with a total net profit of 466.36 billion yuan. From the perspective of regional distribution, the listed enterprises are mainly distributed in the Pearl River Delta region.
