Wuhan Garden Expo Park: Taiwanese in the National Booth Festival
2022-10-11
"Leli, where is it?" "It's Le Li Sa!" On the National Day holiday, the dialogue between a Taiwan stall owner and tourists at the "Leli Fair" activity site of the Wuhan Garden Expo Park Nationwide Stall Festival (stall is set up) made people laugh. In Wuhan dialect, "Leli" means "there". "During the epidemic prevention period, the Expo Park showed its utmost sincerity and encouraged the public to set up stalls in the Park in a rent free manner, hoping to contribute to the economic recovery of Wuhan." Yang Zexin, the chairman of Hankou Li Company in Wuhan Garden Expo Park, talked with the stall owners whenever he had time to understand their needs and opinions and provide them with thoughtful help. Chen Chongshen, a Taiwanese businessman from Kaohsiung, Taiwan, thanked Wuhan Garden Expo Park for providing this opportunity to share authentic Taiwan food with Wuhan people. He has lived in Wuhan for 9 years, mainly engaged in the Taiwan food "Chicken Boss Spicy Chicken Chop", which he is proud of. He opened a direct store in Wuhan, and provided technical support and training services for famous snack brands in Wuhan. This is his first stall. Chen Chongshen, who is well versed in business, told the person in charge of the "Leli Fair" that the activity of Huimin Booth Training not only promoted Taiwan food, but also made many new friends in the same industry. He suggested that the Expo Park should strengthen its marketing planning and combine tickets with food for promotion. He would mobilize more Taiwanese businessmen, Taiqing, to participate in in-depth exchanges with counterparts of Wuhan specialty snacks and share the good taste of both sides of the Taiwan Straits. "The light rain and slanting wind make the morning cold, and the world is full of joy." He Xin, a Taiwanese businessman in Wuhan, was filled with emotion after visiting the market. He has lived in the mainland for more than 30 years. This "Leli Fair" activity in the Expo Park not only allowed him to see the food products of many powerful manufacturers in the mainland, but also tasted the delicious food of his hometown that he had long lost. He was very grateful for the careful organization of the Taiwan Affairs Office of Wuhan City, which created such a grounded exchange opportunity for Taiwanese young businessmen in Wuhan. He hoped to introduce more Taiwan style food for Wuhan through the bridge of "Leli", so that both sides could work together for a win-win situation and start a better life. (Outlook New Times)
