Conakry news: The 29th batch of Chinese medical aid teams to Guinea carried out first aid training activities at the China Guinea Friendship Hospital in Conakry, the capital of Guinea, on the 10th. The theme of this activity is "Platinum Ten Minutes in First Aid, International Day of Self and Mutual Rescue". It was launched by Platinum Ten Minutes Studio of China National Emergency Medical Research Center, the National Alliance for Voluntary Service of Self and Mutual Rescue, the 29th batch of Chinese medical teams to Guinea and the China Guinea Friendship Hospital. The medical teams to Guinea carried out cardiopulmonary resuscitation, Heimlich first aid, patient transfer Exercise and training of emergency treatment and other projects. In his speech after the training, Dean Di Yanei of the China Guinea Friendship Hospital said that this is a full process emergency drill. In the future, he will continue to carry out learning and drilling activities, integrate the training income into the actual work, strengthen the awareness of "time is life" among medical staff, and fight against time for Guinea's emergency patients. Guo Wei, the leader of the medical team for Guinea Bissau, said during the activity that he hoped that through this training, the cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) technology, which is a necessary first aid skill, would be passed on to the medical staff of the China Guinea Friendship Hospital, so that more people could master this first aid technology and patients with sudden accidents could be treated in a timely manner. The 29th batch of Chinese medical teams for Guinea, composed of 22 members from the Beijing Municipal Commission of Health, Beijing Tiantan Hospital affiliated to Capital Medical University, and Beijing Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, arrived in Conakry on March 7 this year to cooperate with Guinea in clinical medicine, hospital management, health policy, medical reform, public health, health promotion and other fields.
