Recently, CCPIT released the Third Quarter Foreign Trade Situation Survey Report (hereinafter referred to as the Report). The Report shows that China's foreign trade enterprises have significantly increased their confidence expectations and continue to show strong resilience. 45.1% of foreign trade enterprises said that their confidence in foreign trade development gradually recovered in the third quarter; 30.31% of foreign trade enterprises are expected to achieve year-on-year growth in the annual trade volume, which is 4.09 percentage points higher than that in the second quarter; Large and medium-sized enterprises are more optimistic about the foreign trade situation in the whole year. Although the expectation of small and micro enterprises is weak, it has improved compared with the second quarter. According to Sun Xiao, spokesman of CCPIT and secretary-general of the China Chamber of International Commerce, since this year, CCPIT has taken the construction of high-level application-oriented think tanks as a main line of business and released quarterly research reports on China's foreign trade situation, which is one of the important brands that CCPIT strives to build. Since late August, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade has issued questionnaires to foreign trade enterprises through the National System for the Promotion of International Trade, and 2043 questionnaires have been effectively recovered. "In the survey, we deeply felt that the implementation effect of various policies to stabilize foreign trade began to be concentrated in the third quarter, and the problems of freight rate, energy, capital, exchange rate and other issues strongly reflected by enterprises in the first half of the year were significantly alleviated." Sun Xiao said. The specific performance is as follows: the export volume and profit of foreign trade enterprises are both good. The trade volume of 22.69% enterprises rose month on month, and the profit of 19.52% enterprises rose month on month. The export profits of high value-added industries increased significantly. The foreign trade of industries such as railway, ship, aviation and aerospace transportation equipment, paper making and paper products, special equipment manufacturing, and automobile has sufficient growth momentum. 40%, 39.29%, 35%, and 28.28% of the enterprises have achieved a month on month increase in export profits. With the deepening of enterprises' understanding and application of RCEP (Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement), ASEAN has become the largest source market for foreign trade orders in China. In the third quarter, the top three major source markets for new orders of foreign trade enterprises were ASEAN, the European Union and the United States, accounting for 30.6%, 30.55% and 25.29% respectively. Foreign trade enterprises have high hopes for new forms and models of trade. 46.7% of enterprises believe that comprehensive foreign trade services play the most important role in promoting exports, and 22.52% of enterprises believe that cross-border e-commerce plays a greater role. At the same time, Sun Xiao said frankly that at present, foreign trade enterprises are still facing multiple problems such as shrinking external demand, insufficient orders in hand, high comprehensive costs, repeated epidemic problems, and increased economic and trade frictions. According to the survey, 60.02% of the enterprises said that the decline of orders was the biggest difficulty they faced. 51.83% of the enterprises felt the diversion of orders. 56.22% of the enterprises believed that the cost of raw materials had increased. 47.68% of the enterprises reported that the epidemic affected production. According to Sun Xiao, the policy appeals of foreign trade enterprises are mainly reflected in three aspects: continue to strengthen the implementation of tax and fee reduction, continue relevant preferential measures for tax reduction, and help enterprises reduce costs, increase confidence, and solve problems; Accelerate the resumption of domestic offline exhibitions, actively organize foreign trade enterprises to participate in overseas exhibitions, and improve the mobility of cross-border personnel; Increase the training and consultation for foreign trade enterprises to use the preferential policies of the Free Trade Agreement, help enterprises effectively deal with international economic and trade frictions, and comprehensively improve the use of preferential policies by enterprises
