Wang Shouwen said that this online Canton Fair will continue to carry out synchronous activities with 132 cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot areas and 5 cross-border e-commerce platforms, and freight forwarders, financial institutions, credit insurance institutions, certification institutions, overseas warehouse owners, shipping service providers and other enterprises will provide services online. At the same time, a special area of "rural revitalization" was set up to support enterprises from all poverty alleviation areas to participate in the exhibition. In fact, although the Canton Fair is the largest offline exhibition in the world, only 25000 enterprises can participate in offline exhibitions. The online Canton Fair will expand the scope of exhibitors. Not only these 25000 enterprises can continue to participate in online exhibitions, but also willing enterprises can participate in online exhibitions after passing the qualification examination. "At present, nearly 10000 enterprises have signed up to participate in the online exhibition. In addition to the original 25000, 10000 enterprises will participate in the online exhibition, which is impossible to achieve offline exhibition." Wang Shouwen said that these 10000 enterprises include "small giant" enterprises specializing in special and new products, high-tech enterprises and single champion enterprises in manufacturing industry. The online exhibition of the Canton Fair began after the outbreak of the New Crown Pneumonia epidemic. The 127th Canton Fair in 2020 was the first online exhibition, which lasted 10 days. According to Wang Shouwen, the function of exhibitors' connection and appointment is 10 days, and the time for online exhibition, instant communication, trade matching and conference services is extended to 5 months. That is to say, from October 15 this year to March 15 next year, online exhibition enterprises can enjoy the online exhibition related services of the Canton Fair. The current Canton Fair will continue to free enterprises from online participation fees, and the online exhibition will add a number of "cloud exhibition hall" functions, which will facilitate exhibitors to efficiently and accurately manage exhibits, strengthen exhibition guidance, enrich customer service content, provide multi-channel services such as artificial intelligence online, artificial voice response, social media, and help buyers and exhibitors better use online platform services.
