On September 21, the commemoration of the 2022 International Day of Peace was held in Beijing. At this important historical juncture, I put forward the global security initiative, advocating that all countries adhere to the common, comprehensive, cooperative and sustainable security concept, respect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all countries, abide by the purposes and principles of the Charter of the United Nations, attach importance to the legitimate security concerns of all countries, resolve differences and disputes among countries through dialogue and consultation, share the responsibility for maintaining peace, follow the path of peaceful development, and work together to build a community with a shared future for mankind. It is hoped that the commemoration will pool the wisdom and strength of all parties and make positive contributions to safeguarding world peace and stability. (Liu Xinshe)
