The author learned from the meeting that since this year, Guangdong Province has made every effort to stabilize and expand employment, and played a policy combination of "reducing, easing, expanding, returning, supplementing and promoting". The total relief burden of 3.44 million market entities has exceeded 48.365 billion yuan. From January to August, 943900 new urban jobs were created in the province. The urban survey unemployment rate was operating within the target range, and the employment situation remained generally stable. The meeting stressed that all localities and departments should effectively improve their political positions, anchor the employment goals and tasks for the whole year, stabilize enterprise posts, stabilize employment of college graduates, stabilize employment of migrant workers, stabilize employment of disadvantaged groups, serve employment of key enterprises, improve the quality of three projects, such as "Cantonese food masters", "Cantonese technicians" and "Southern Guangdong housekeeping", serve entrepreneurship and innovation and flexible employment, and spare no effort to promote employment to continue to recover steadily and improve.
