China's work on healthy aging has progressed steadily, and the positive concept of aging has gradually become popular. The latest data shows that by the end of 2021, 1.03 billion people have participated in basic old-age insurance, 1.36 billion people have been covered by basic medical insurance, and the participation rate is stable at more than 95%. The medical insurance for all has been basically realized. There are 49 pilot cities for long-term care insurance, with 145 million insured people. There are 6492 medical and nursing institutions with two certificates, 1750000 beds in total, and nearly 79000 pairs of medical and nursing contracts. As of the first quarter of this year, there were 360000 elderly care service institutions and facilities nationwide, with 8.126 million beds.
