Recently, the first Chongqing Cultural Relics Industry Vocational Skills Competition and the 2022 National Cultural Relics Industry Vocational Skills Competition, with the theme of "protecting cultural heritage and promoting craftsmanship", was held in the Three Gorges Cultural Relics Science and Technology Protection Base located in Nan'an District, Chongqing. The competition is divided into six projects, namely, wood composition restoration, clay tile composition restoration, ceramic cultural relics restoration, mural painted sculpture cultural relics restoration, metal cultural relics restoration, and archaeological exploration. More than 30 professionals engaged in cultural relics restoration and archaeology, and teachers and students from universities and vocational colleges with cultural relics protection, cultural relics restoration, archaeology and other specialties participated in the competition.
