Reflections on reading chinese classical novels: reviewing the charm of chinese classical novels

Mr. Zhou Ruchang gave a good lecture. He had a good reputation as early as when he was teaching in Sichuan. The student of West China University said in his memory, "When Mr. Zhou was in class, he spoke a Beijing film with cadence and eloquence. Once, Mr. Zhou said that Chinese language is a treasure house, which has endless sources and charming treasures." "Mr. Zhou teaches in English, and we are fascinated by his fluent and pleasant English..." Before the transfer to the north in 1954, Sichuan University issued an official letter of identification, emphasizing that Mr. Zhou Ruchang is the most competent teacher and therefore the most popular teacher among students. Mr. Zhou left precious images on TV with his lecture style in his later years. The course of Chinese Classical Fiction, newly published by Peking University Press, is the courseware text based on the audio and video transformation of Mr. CCTV's lecture "One Hundred Lecturers". Although the voice, gesture, gesture and expression of the lecture are difficult to be presented in the text, the style of impromptu rambling, the leisurely tone and even the verve in the speech are still there. It is really gratifying that the audio and video program has been transformed into a professional writing with independent value after the complete records of Ms. Lun Ling, the daughter of Mr. Yu, and the careful arrangement of the editors and editors of the publication, as well as the hints, expansion and conclusion of the pre book quotes, post class notes, and post lecture speeches. Mr. Zhou's CCTV lecture, a "text" based on trust and combining trust with beauty, was themed on the "four masterpieces" in Chinese classical novels, namely, The Romance of the Three Kingdoms, The Water Margin, Journey to the West, and A Dream of Red Mansions. There are six lectures in the sorted text. Among them, "Romance of the Three Kingdoms", "Outlaws of the Marsh" and "Journey to the West" account for only one third of the weight of the three books, and "A Dream of Red Mansions", the main object of the study of the Red Mansions, accounts for two thirds. However, there is no sense of unevenness. In the opening "Little Guide", Mr. Zhou stated that the focus of the lecture was not on "communicating knowledge" and general knowledge. Instead, he wanted to "mobilize the initiative and enthusiasm of the audience, use their brains together, think about problems, and trigger new meanings and experiences that the audience had never thought of before". The experience, inspiration, and feelings gained from reading the courseware text really exceed the limit of the topic. Mr. Zhou has always been regarded as a textual research scholar, but he attaches great importance to combing ideas. The Chinese novels under the historiographer culture background are different from the western novels which pursue the truth of philosophy. In the first part of his opening speech, Mr. Li proposed the distinction between literary quality and belief in beauty to pave the way for academic theory. Mr. Shi has repeatedly stressed that history, as a novel of external history, unofficial history and unofficial history, can only be turned into a literary work by artistic processing based on the truth of history and belief. The teacher believed that the popular form of novels, which narrated the rise and fall of the family and the country, the human enmity and the fantasy of the heaven, was also the reason why the "Four Wonderful Books" were called "Strange". From the original point of view, "A Dream of Red Mansions" is a special existence even in the Chinese novel tradition. The reason why A Dream of Red Mansions has become an "unprecedented book" and the most peculiar "text" in the history of Chinese culture is also the combination of faith and beauty. Method, viewpoint and spiritual context attach importance to methodology, which is another major feature of Mr. Zhou's lecture. As for the "Four Masterpieces", Mr. Zhou talked about creative methods, research methods and reading
