The handover ceremony of the 25th and 26th Chinese peacekeeping medical teams to the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) was held on the 14th in the Chinese secondary hospital of the United Nations Stabilization Mission in the DRC (MONUSCO) in Bukavu, South Kivu, DRC. This marks the successful completion of the 25th rotation handover and the beginning of the full implementation of the mission of the 26th batch of peacekeeping medical teams. Su Zhenglin, the leader of the 26th Chinese peacekeeping medical team to the Democratic Republic of the Congo, said at the ceremony that with the efforts of a number of medical team officers and soldiers, China's secondary hospitals have built a reputation of high medical ethics, superb medical skills and credibility, which is both pressure and motivation for the 26th medical team. "We will continue our efforts, be task oriented, innovate through inheritance, constantly strengthen our own construction, and better fulfill our peacekeeping mission!" It is understood that the 25th batch of peacekeeping medical teams to the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) actively carried out the work of reception, surgery, new crown vaccination, ultrasound and radiation inspection during their tenure, which achieved medical error free, safe and accident free, and was widely praised.
