Exquisite pieces of Chinese paintings and porcelain, as well as Kazakh silk and ceramic products, are vivid portrayals of the splendid culture of China and Kazakhstan, and are also historical witnesses of the friendly exchanges between the two peoples from generation to generation. The two heads of state held formal talks. The two countries took the lead in solving border problems, laying cross-border oil and gas pipelines, carrying out international production capacity cooperation, establishing a permanent comprehensive strategic partnership, and creating a number of "firsts". China attaches great importance to relations with Kazakhstan, firmly supports Kazakhstan in safeguarding its national independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity, and firmly supports Kazakhstan's reform initiatives to safeguard national stability and development.
