To maintain hope is not to be blindly optimistic or selectively ignore it, but to recognize and affirm the potential of mankind and realize that mankind can work miracles under the best conditions. UN Secretary General Guterres said in his speech at the meeting that the multilateral system will face unprecedented tests during the next UN General Assembly, and multilateralism is the only hope of mankind. He called on all countries to follow the path of diplomacy, negotiation and compromise. Guterres praised Shahid's vision and leadership and looked forward to cooperating with kelehi.
