In order to show the concern of the Party Central Committee for grass-roots party organizations, Party members and the masses in the disaster areas, the Organization Department of the Central Committee recently allocated 20 million yuan from the party expenses managed on behalf of the Central Committee to Sichuan Province to support earthquake relief and post disaster reconstruction. Party members and cadres in disaster areas should go deep into the front line of earthquake relief, charge ahead, be brave in taking responsibility, go to the places where the disaster is most serious and where the masses need it most, and be the backbone and intimate person of the people in disaster areas. The Organization Department of the Party committee should give full play to its mobilization and support role, pay attention to investigating and identifying cadres in the earthquake relief, pay attention to discovering, publicizing and commending advanced models, and provide a strong organizational guarantee for the earthquake relief. The Organization Department of the Central Committee stressed that this party fee should be allocated to the grass-roots units in the disaster areas in a timely manner and used for a specific purpose. It is mainly used to comfort the grass-roots party members, cadres and masses who are fighting on the front line of earthquake relief, to comfort the party members and masses who have encountered difficulties in their lives because of the serious disaster, and to subsidize and repair the educational facilities for grass-roots party members damaged by the disaster.
