The scope of funding is wider. Over the past 10 years, China has subsidized nearly 1.3 billion students, and the number of annual subsidized students has increased from nearly 120 million in 2012 to 150 million in 2021, realizing the full coverage of the subsidy policy of "all school stages, all schools and all students with financial difficulties". The funding is even greater. Over the past 10 years, the total amount of student aid in China has exceeded 2 trillion yuan. Among them, the total financial investment reached 1.45 trillion yuan, accounting for 72% of the total funding. The annual funding has doubled from 132.2 billion yuan in 2012 to 266.8 billion yuan in 2021. The financial investment increased from 102 billion yuan in 2012 to 2007 billion yuan in 2021, an increase of 97%. At present, China's student financial assistance has formed a student financial assistance system with Chinese characteristics, which focuses on government assistance in terms of input, supplemented by school and social assistance, and focuses on poverty alleviation in terms of object, supplemented by awards and excellence. It covers 28 central government funded projects. The combination of multiple policies of "awards, subsidies, loans, exemptions, attendance, subsidies and reductions" provides the world with an annual financial assistance of 150 million people and an annual financial assistance of more than 260 billion yuan. It provides the world with a Chinese scheme for student financial assistance. Student aid is an important part of poverty alleviation, and also an important position for poverty alleviation. According to the relevant person in charge of the Ministry of education, in the past 10 years, the student financial assistance has insisted on taking students from families with registered cards, students from families with minimum living allowances, students with special difficulties, orphans, disabled students and other special and difficult groups as the key guarantee objects, and has given higher-grade financial assistance in combination with the actual situation, accelerating the pace of these families to get rid of poverty. In 2020, a total of 14.72 million students with registered cards were funded, with a funding amount of 34.4 billion yuan. After the completion of the task of poverty alleviation, in 2021, we will continue to subsidize more than 14 million students from poverty-stricken families and unstable families, more than 7 million students from low-income families, more than 100000 students from special hardship families, more than 200000 orphan students, and more than 1 million disabled students, with an annual subsidy of 57.2 billion yuan.
