2022-09-02
The high-speed multiple units and comprehensive inspection trains exported from China to Jakarta Vanuatu high-speed railway arrived at Tanjung Bulu port in Jakarta, Indonesia on September 1. This is the first high-speed train delivered to Indonesia by the Yawan high-speed railway project, marking another important milestone in the construction of Yawan high-speed railway. Ya'an-wan high-speed railway is the first overseas construction project of China's high-speed railway in the whole system, all factors and all industrial chains. The whole line adopts Chinese technology and Chinese standards. The 11 high-speed EMUs used by the high-speed railway have been completed in China. The first two sets of trains arriving in Indonesia this time include a high-speed EMU for passenger operation and a comprehensive inspection vehicle for comprehensive inspection of high-speed railway lines. According to the plan, the on-site marshalling, commissioning and delivery of vehicles will be carried out locally. The remaining 10 trains will also be shipped from China to Indonesia in batches before the beginning of 2023. As China's first high-speed railway train exported to foreign countries, China Railway International Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China National Railway Corporation, took the lead in organizing CRRC Qingdao Sifang locomotive and rolling stock Co., Ltd., one of the member units of the Chinese enterprise consortium of ya'an-wan high-speed railway, to design and manufacture the ya'an-wan high-speed EMU and comprehensive inspection train. The maximum operating speed of the train is 350 kilometers per hour. Relying on the advanced and mature technology of Fuxing China standard EMU, it adapts to the local operating environment and line conditions in Indonesia, integrates the local culture of Indonesia, and carries out adaptive improvement. It has the characteristics of advanced technology, safety and intelligence, strong environmental adaptability and distinctive local characteristics, which fully meets the operational needs of Yawan high-speed railway. The Jakarta Bandung high-speed railway, with a total length of 142 kilometers, connects Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, and Bandung, the famous city in West Java. It is a landmark project of the "the Belt and Road" initiative and practical cooperation between China and Indonesia. When completed and opened to traffic, it will provide a new high-speed transportation mode between Jakarta and Bandung, reducing the travel time between the two places from more than 3 hours to 40 minutes.
