A few days ago, the State Drug Administration approved the application for registration of the innovative product "fundus image aided diagnosis software for chronic glaucoma like optic neuropathy" developed by Tencent medical health (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. AI assisted glaucoma judgment was approved, and Tencent became the first Internet technology enterprise in China to be approved for innovative medical devices. It is reported that this set of products is the joint scientific research result of Tencent Miying and Professor Wang Ningli of Beijing Tongren Hospital. It uses deep learning artificial intelligence algorithm to provide clinical auxiliary triage advice. The product builds corresponding sub classification models based on different fields of vision. The algorithm engine uses multi model integrated learning strategy to give hints on whether there is suspected chronic glaucomatous optic neuropathy, provide hints on suspected chronic glaucomatous optic neuropathy for practicing doctors, and provide auxiliary diagnosis suggestions on whether further medical examination is required.
