In Tangfang Town, Guangchang county, Jiangxi Province, this grassroots Puppet Troupe composed of local farmers and artists has been active in the mountainous area at the junction of Jiangxi and Fujian for many years. When they are busy, they go to the fields and when they are free, they go to the stage to send laughter to the rural people. Guangchang Tangfang puppet show is a form of opera in which artists operate puppet performance stories. It has been inherited for thousands of years. So far, more than 30 traditional operas such as rouge snow and Mantang Fu have been preserved. In 2013, it was listed in the intangible cultural heritage list of Jiangxi Province. In 1997, Xie bang, a peasant entertainer of Tangfang puppet show, organized a Qixin Puppet Troupe with UnionPay and several fellow countrymen. Every new year's festival, there are happy events at home, and the surrounding villages will invite theatrical troupes to perform. Fields, squares, ancestral halls, puppet troupes go where the stage is. Over the past 25 years, the troupe has performed more than 3500 performances. The small "square inch stage" has always been rooted in the mountains and fields, so that the traditional intangible cultural heritage can be inherited and developed in the countryside.
