At present, the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Guangzhou still exists on the island. Shamian Xidi was rated as a 3A scenic spot in 2021. The unique historical and cultural background has created a unique cultural landscape integrating Eastern and Western cultures. The livable environment and complete supporting facilities also provide good basic conditions for the construction of international blocks in the jurisdiction. There are 16 foreign capital, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan enterprises and Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Group, one of the world's top 500 enterprises, gathered here, and attracted many international talents to develop here.
