The second front office exchange meeting of the Legislative Council of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR) was held in the Legislative Council on the 17th. The Chief Secretary for administration of the SAR government, Chen Guoji, and the Deputy Chief Secretary for administration, Zhuo Yongxing, led nine SAR government officials to attend. The exchange meeting held on that day was divided into two sections, and about 70 members attended. Officials attending the meeting exchanged views with members on Hong Kong's health black spots and other issues. The president of the Legislative Council, Mr Andrew Leung, said that at present, the Legislative Council meeting is in recess, and members continue to go to the district to collect opinions from different people and professional organizations, and reflect them to the SAR government. He hoped that all good opinions would be shared and the front office exchange meeting would continue to have good results. Li Jiachao, chief executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR), previously proposed to hold a front office exchange meeting in the Legislative Council every month in order to strengthen the exchange and communication between officials of the SAR government and members of the SAR Legislative Council. The first anteroom exchange meeting was held in the Legislative Council on July 13. (news agency)
