Compared with the first ship, the design and construction period of the second domestic large cruise ship was shortened by 6 months, but the total tonnage increased by 6700 tons, the total length increased by 17.4 meters, and the total number of rooms increased by 19 to 2144. The second domestic large cruise ship is also equipped with a 16 storey living and entertainment area, with a large-scale performance center, large restaurants, special restaurants, bars, cafes, shopping malls, art corridors, children's centers, spas, water parks and other rich leisure and entertainment facilities. Two sets of desulfurization towers and selective catalytic reduction (SCR) systems have been added, which will make it a more green and environmentally friendly "mobile maritime city". Relying on large-scale cruise projects, ship enterprises will promote the integrated development of the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain. As one of the open innovation centers of Pudong large enterprises, the large cruise innovation center was also unveiled in Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding on August 8. The above-mentioned person in charge told the reporter that the large-scale cruise innovation center is an open innovation center for large enterprises with Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding as the main body of construction, domestic large-scale cruise ship projects as the core support, and enabling the construction of upstream and downstream industrial chains as the fundamental task. It is reported that the large cruise innovation center has a joint work scene with an area of more than 13000 square meters and a joint innovation base with an area of more than 90000 square meters. At present, more than 40 enterprises with advantages in the industrial chain have settled in. The large cruise innovation center has 7 technology sub centers, including the large cruise digital design technology sub center, the large cruise intelligent manufacturing sub center, the large cruise safety control sub center, the large cruise intelligent logistics sub center, the large cruise interior decoration engineering sub center, the large cruise material performance test sub center, and the large cruise welding process technology research sub center.
