Reporter Ye Xinxian reported that in this year's outstanding performance award for teaching staff, the Hong Kong Baptist University has awarded 19 awards to many teaching staff, among which Cai Jiajie (picture), a second-class lecturer of the teaching and Research Department of the school of Chinese medicine of the Baptist University, won the "outstanding new teacher teaching performance award". Cai Jiajie was the first batch of students to stay in school to teach. He was also the disciple of Master Li canwo, the direct disciple of Huang Feihong's wife Mo Guilan, who inherited medical skills and Hongquan. Cai Jiajie joined HKBU as a teaching assistant in 2015 and became a lecturer in 2018, teaching basic courses of Chinese medicine, as well as medical ethics, pediatrics, Chinese medicine dietotherapy, etc. Cai Jiajie started the elective course of Chinese medicine first aid during his teaching period, mainly to teach students the knowledge of pre hospital first aid. Cai Jiajie said that all the critical illness treatment that Chinese medicine students learned before were carried out in the hospital, and there was still room for pre hospital first aid. He explained that prehospital first aid included basic first aid, nursing and knowledge required by paramedics, such as how to fix the spine with professional techniques to reduce the risk of spinal injuries.
