2022-08-04
At the time of "three volts", many places in the country welcomed high-temperature weather, and heatstroke, gastrointestinal diseases and other high-temperature diseases occurred frequently. Experts remind that the elderly, outdoor workers and children should pay special attention to reasonable cooling, light diet and timely drinking water in high temperature weather to avoid high-temperature diseases. Han Xiaotong, director of the emergency department of the Hunan Provincial People's Hospital, said that the number of heatstroke patients admitted to the hospital has increased recently. When some patients were sent to the hospital, their body temperature reached 40 degrees Celsius, and they had symptoms such as chest tightness, heat cramps, and sweating. Han Xiaotong reminded that in the high-temperature environment, if there are sweating, thirst, dizziness, chest tightness, nausea, limb weakness, etc., the possibility of heatstroke should be considered. In high-temperature weather, people should eat as light as possible and eat more vegetables and fruits to help supplement water and related nutrients. Wu Chenfang, deputy director of the Department of critical care medicine of Xiangya Second Hospital of Central South University, said that outdoor workers should avoid working for a long time in high-temperature weather. The elderly, children, pregnant women and patients with cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases should try their best to avoid going out for a long time in high-temperature weather. They can prepare Huoxiang Zhengqi water and Fengyoujing. If heatstroke occurs, they can take Huoxiang Zhengqi water, carry out physical cooling in time, and replenish water in time. Patients with cardiovascular disease are prone to blood pressure fluctuations in high temperature days. Therefore, outdoor activities should be reduced as much as possible. Patients with hypertension must not be greedy for cold water and do not take cold baths to avoid stimulating blood vessel contraction and causing blood pressure fluctuations. Dr. Liu Fuqiang, director of the emergency office of the Hunan CDC, reminded that the recent hot weather and increased humidity make food easy to deteriorate. People need to prevent acute gastroenteritis, bacillary dysentery, enteritis and other diseases, pay attention to drinking water and food hygiene, and separate raw and cooked food in the process of food preparation. In particular, raw meat, poultry and seafood should be washed and cut separately from other food. The elderly, children and other groups should not stay in the air-conditioned room for a long time, nor drink too much ice drinks, so as to avoid the cold air irritating the stomach and affecting digestion.
