Among them, as the main sales channel of smart speakers with screens, the operator channel showed strong channel resilience during the period of market downturn. By taking advantage of the broad channel depth and combining with product iteration, the channel sales volume maintained stable development in the first half of 2022, and the channel sales share significantly increased year-on-year. The online and offline open retail channels were impacted by the decline in demand after the upsurge of tasting fresh food subsided, and the market share shrank significantly in the first half of the year. In addition, in the first half of the year, the sales volume of the screen less smart speaker market was 8.94 million, a year-on-year decrease of 28.9%, and the average unit price before tax was 184 yuan, a year-on-year increase of 21%, higher than the average unit price increase of 9% in the screen smart speaker market. The rapid rise of the average price of the screen less smart speaker market is mainly driven by two factors. On the one hand, the narrowing of the manufacturer's subsidies has led to a marked increase in the sales price of the entry-level non screen speakers. While the daily sales price has increased, the discount during the promotion period has also been significantly weakened; On the other hand, the iteration of mid end upgraded and high-end quality products has gradually pushed the price segment distribution of the screen less smart speaker market upward. IDC believes that the market development in the second half of the year will continue the rational development trend, and the deep excavation of market demand and the search for positive development space will become an important starting point to accelerate the reversal of the business situation. IDC China analysts said that the market demand for smart speakers in China has gradually returned to rationality with the decline of the taste boom. While expanding the new demand in the deep sinking market, the importance of tapping the upgrading demand of the stock market for future market development is constantly increasing.
