The national urban infrastructure construction plan for the 14th five year plan makes a comprehensive and systematic arrangement for the overall promotion of urban infrastructure during the 14th Five Year Plan period. The main objectives, key tasks, major actions and safeguard measures of urban infrastructure construction during the 14th Five Year Plan period are put forward to guide the healthy and orderly development of urban infrastructure in all regions. The plan proposes that by 2025, the green transformation of urban construction mode and production and lifestyle will have achieved remarkable results, the systematization level, operation efficiency and risk prevention ability of infrastructure will be significantly improved, the "urban disease" of mega cities will be effectively alleviated, the operation of infrastructure will be more efficient, the quality of infrastructure in large and medium-sized cities will be significantly improved, and the shortcomings of infrastructure in small and medium-sized cities will be accelerated. It is worth noting that the plan focuses on building a systematic, efficient, practical, intelligent, green, safe and reliable modern infrastructure system, and puts forward four key tasks: first, promote the systematic construction of urban infrastructure and enhance the ability of urban safety and resilience.
