Sebastian Moncayo, who is in charge of public relations on board, told reporters that people aged 13 to 64 can read books with rich content only by buying tickets of 1 euro, and people of other ages can read them for free, and people can also buy favorite books at a very low price. Books are mainly donated. On the "Wangdao" ship, the captain, the chef and the staff responsible for managing books are all volunteers from about 60 countries and regions. Moncayo from Ecuador has been a member of the ship since 2019. Except for a short return to visit relatives, he basically lives and works on the ship. He told reporters that he liked life on board, that he could meet people from different countries and appreciate different cultures. "It is the love of books and the enthusiasm to deal with people from different countries and cultural backgrounds that bring us together. Our mission is to spread knowledge and hope." Moncayo said.
