Since the special action, a total of 255000 cyber crime cases have been detected and 385000 suspect have been arrested. In view of the key elements of cybercrime, such as material supply, technical support, advertising promotion, payment and settlement, the public security organs adhere to the principle of "seven inches, the whole chain, and ecology", and strictly crack down on and control the personnel, gangs, and enterprises involved in the case according to law, effectively cutting off the chain of network interests. In 2021, more than 6000 illegal payment and settlement gangs and more than 73000 suspect were arrested. Wang Yingwei stressed that the public security organs should pay equal attention to both cracking down and rectification, effectively strengthen the source governance of network platforms, constantly strengthen safety supervision and inspection and administrative law enforcement, and rectify the network application services with prominent illegal and harmful information and various network services used to implement illegal and criminal activities according to law, so as to promote the healthy and orderly development of the Internet industry and ecology. At the same time, we will deepen the "double investigation of one case" and strictly investigate the failure of enterprises involved in cyber crime cases to perform their obligations of network security management in accordance with the law.
