In the early 1990s, by chance, I was transferred from Zhangye City, Gansu Province to Ankang Military District, Shaanxi Province. Although I was from southern Shaanxi, I was still very strange to Ankang at that time. The city on the Han River has several streets, how many people there are, and where the most prosperous place is, for me, all at a loss and unknown. Time flies like a white horse. Unconsciously, I have been living in Ankang for 30 years. The strange city in those days is now my home in the depths of my life. Ankang is a beautiful city. The Han River, the largest tributary of the Yangtze River, runs through the canyon from west to East, crossing mountains and rivers and rushing forward. When the Han River flows through Ankang City, it seems to slow down deliberately. The green and clear Han River water passes through Ankang City, like a smart and elegant belt tied around the waist of the city, which also nourishes the city and people on the bank. In Ankang small town, my family has experienced several relocations. In the first few years of marriage, due to lack of money, I had to rent everywhere. From remote districts and counties to old houses in the suburbs, there have been whole families living there. At that time, the biggest longing in my heart was to have my own home in Ankang City. Later, our family moved to Changxing community to settle down. Although the house is not big, we feel very warm when we live in it, and we really feel the steadiness of settling down. However, as the children grow up day by day, the original two bedroom becomes more and more crowded. A few years later, the family realized their long cherished wish of changing small houses into large ones, and moved to Xing'an community to live in a more spacious and bright house. After moving to the big house, our family's heart is more and more filled with a better sense of fulfillment and happiness. And the experience of moving many times also let me see the rapid development and changes of Ankang City. The more spacious the houses are, the wider the urban roads are. The experience of ecological livability makes the city more and more popular. Moving from the foot of the mountain to the river, our home is close to the city center and the Han River. The beauty of health lies in the green water. The water of Han River is clear, like a huge mirror. It can be said that it is the clear Hanjiang River that feeds the Ankang people. The distance from Han River is close, and the mood of our family is as light as water. On weekdays, the happiest time for the whole family is to take a walk in the wide riverside park. In the past, my parents, relatives and friends came to Ankang from my hometown and always liked to let me take them shopping and shopping. Now, they let me take them to the riverside park. In the park, the vegetation is luxuriant and green. Cedar and camphor crowns are like giant umbrellas, swaying gently by the river wind. Metasequoia, ginkgo tree trunks straight, straight into the sky. There are also various other greening plants, which are scattered in height and dense. Midsummer, more than 5 o'clock in the morning, the Riverside Park began to make a sound. Chirping sparrows are always the first to wake up, jumping up and down in the flowers and branches, and calling friends. Many birds, such as oriole, magpie and thrush, responded in succession. Then, there were more people doing morning exercises. They greeted each other warmly, and then either stretched out, breathed the fresh air by the river, or chatted in pairs. The sun slowly rose, the river was sparkling, and the flowers beside the river showed bright colors. The whole Ankang City woke up in such a beautiful picture. Gradually, more and more people are doing morning exercises by the river, and more people are walking and playing. Although it is a summer day, I can't feel sultry by the river. Especially in the morning, the temperature has not yet risen, and there is a breeze blowing by the river, which makes people feel fresh and happy. At night, the sultry heat of the day fades, and the cool by the river also brings people a pleasant enjoyment. On the square, the dancers were full of energy, the walkers were leisurely, the children played, the old people played chess or chatted, and from time to time they laughed heartily. The elderly in costumes sang and danced, singing tunes with strong local characteristics, and their faces were full of happiness. Walking and looking by the Ankang River, you can truly feel the essence of the word "Ankang". No wonder local people say, "go into Ankang to clear the lungs, eat in Ankang to nourish the stomach, live in Ankang to be hydrophilic, and live in Ankang to be happy!" Living in Ankang, you will often miss your hometown and parents. His hometown is Shiquan County, more than 130 kilometers away from Ankang City. In the past, when I went home to visit my parents, I used to take the bus, which had to be reversed three times in the middle. Sometimes it was difficult to buy tickets. Every time I take the bus home, I'm afraid of being late and missing the train number. I have to get up early and hurry on the way. I'm anxious and tired. When we went back to our hometown for the new year, we bought new clothes for the old man, prepared holiday gifts for the whole family, and carried large and small bags on our shoulders, which was very hard. A few years ago, my family bought a car with a loan, and my wife and children got their driver's license. Since then, returning home from Ankang is no longer a hard work. Moreover, now 10 counties (cities, districts) in Ankang have highways, and the cement roads connecting villages are like a dense network all over the mountains. Transportation extends in all directions, making travel extremely convenient. Now go back to our hometown and we can drive directly to the door. This was unthinkable in the past. Now, during the Spring Festival, we are in Ankang City at noon at the mother-in-law's family reunion, and we can arrive at the rural hometown in the evening. As night falls, neon flashes. The flowing Han River water reflects the buildings in Ankang City, as well as the bridges across the Han River... The reflection in the water is dazzling, and it is also a dream and fantasy to "embroider" the small city. In Ankang City, whenever I stand by the river and watch the Han River flowing, I will always truly realize that "happy Ankang" is not only an ordinary blessing, but also a true portrayal of my living in Ankang.
