The majority of Taiwan compatriots should see clearly the general trend of the development of cross-strait relations, firmly stand on the right side of history, resolutely oppose all kinds of separatist acts of "Taiwan independence", and firmly hold happiness and dreams in their own hands. Xia Liyan, vice chairman of the Chinese Kuomintang, said in his video speech that the Chinese Kuomintang will promote cross-strait exchanges and dialogues on the basis of the "1992 consensus", adhere to the opposition to "Taiwan independence", and carry out various work that meets the expectations of the Taiwan people and is conducive to the peace, stability, prosperity and development of the two sides of the Taiwan Strait. Wu Chengdian, chairman of the new party, said in his speech at the conference that we should adhere to the "1992 consensus" and that both sides of the Strait belong to one China, resolutely oppose the policies of "uniting with the United States to resist China" and "being pro american and anti Communist", comprehensively carry out cross-strait exchanges, and achieve the goal of peaceful reunification through consultation and negotiation. Other Taiwan compatriots also spoke at the conference. During his stay in Fujian, Wang Yang also visited the "common home and common memory - archives and documents exhibition of Fujian Taiwan Relations" in Xiamen to investigate the youth entrepreneurship base on both sides of the Strait and Taiwan funded enterprises in Zhangzhou. He pointed out that deepening the integration and development of the two sides of the Strait, in line with the common aspiration of the compatriots on both sides of the Strait, is the only way to achieve the peaceful reunification of the motherland. All relevant departments in all regions should implement the relevant decisions and arrangements of the Party Central Committee and the policies and measures to benefit Taiwan and the people in a down-to-earth manner, put their work into the hearts of Taiwan compatriots, and achieve the results of spiritual harmony, so as to promote integration with communication, benefits and feelings. We should adopt more flexible measures to provide convenient and efficient services for Taiwan youth to come to the mainland for employment and entrepreneurship, so that they can truly perceive the development achievements and bright prospects of the motherland, and are willing to come, stay and integrate. It is necessary to help Taiwan funded enterprises overcome the flow of people and logistics obstacles caused by the epidemic, implement fiscal, tax, financial and other relief policies, and promote the steady and qualitative increase of Taiwan businessmen's investment. We should support Fujian in exploring a new path of cross-strait integration and development, promote all links between Fujian and Taiwan, deepen cooperation in science and technology, education, culture, health and other fields, and build a demonstration area for cross-strait integration and development.
