Wangyi expressed that the heads of state of China and the Republic of Korea successfully called, leading the bilateral relations to achieve a smooth transition and a good start. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the Republic of Korea. The bilateral relations usher in important opportunities for development, but also face some practical challenges. Maintaining and developing China ROK relations is in the common interests of both sides, otherwise both countries will suffer. This is the successful experience of the continuous development of bilateral relations in the past 30 years. China and South Korea are inseparable neighbors and partners. The two countries share weal and woe in the security environment, forming an industrial cycle of interest integration. We should adhere to the consensus and understanding reached and maintain the stability and continuity of mutual policies. Both China and South Korea belong to Oriental culture, which stresses on faith-based. Confucius said, "people have no faith, and I don't know how to do it.". China is willing to review with the ROK the original intention of establishing diplomatic relations, focus on mutually beneficial cooperation, eliminate internal and external interference, and promote bilateral relations to maintain a healthy and stable development momentum. Park Zhen said that the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the ROK and China is a milestone. The ROK believes that mutual respect and mutual trust are crucial to the development of bilateral relations, and will, in the spirit of "mountains accumulate and grow, and Ze accumulate and grow", become a partner of equal cooperation, mutual benefit and win-win results with China, and promote bilateral cooperation in various fields to achieve more visible results. Both sides believed that it was very important to strengthen exchanges and in-depth communication, and agreed in principle to realize the exchange of visits between the foreign ministers of the two countries within the year. Both sides spoke positively of the steady increase in the bilateral trade volume, which is expected to reach a new high, and agreed to accelerate the second phase of the negotiation of the free trade agreement between the two countries to achieve a higher level of mutual opening.
