The video conference of the 13th China ASEAN informal meeting of defense ministers was held on the 22nd. The meeting was co chaired by weifenghe, State Councilor and Minister of defense of China, and Diban, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of defense of Cambodia, the rotating chairman of ASEAN. Over the past 30 years, China ASEAN friendly cooperation has witnessed continuous development and fruitful results. China and ASEAN should continue to adhere to mutual respect, openness, inclusiveness and win-win cooperation, and work together to build a closer China ASEAN Community of shared future. On the South China Sea issue, all parties should eliminate interference, adhere to the "two track approach", and build the South China Sea into a sea of peace, friendship and cooperation. Leaders of the defense departments of ASEAN countries said that the establishment of a comprehensive strategic partnership between ASEAN and China has provided a new opportunity for both sides to deepen defense and security cooperation.
