In terms of building a child health service system integrating prevention and treatment, the report shows that by the end of 2021, there were 151 children's hospitals in China, with 2.2 beds per 1000 children, an increase of 0.27 compared with 2015. The number of pediatric licensed (Assistant) doctors in China has increased from 118000 in 2015 to 206000 in 2021. In addition, according to the report, 1379 maternal and child health care institutions nationwide have provided children's mental health services, 318 prefectures and cities have set up psychiatric hospitals, and 2756 districts and counties have been able to provide mental health services, which has initially alleviated the shortage of mental services for children at the grass-roots level.
