They agreed to continue to promote the construction of the mechanism, solve and deal with maritime issues through negotiation and consultation, speed up maritime delimitation negotiations, and strengthen marine scientific research, ecological environmental protection, shipping, fisheries, maritime law enforcement Practical cooperation in maritime security, sea and air security and other aspects has continuously enhanced mutual trust and worked hard to build the Yellow Sea into a sea of peace, friendship and cooperation. The two sides also exchanged views on the discharge of nuclear contaminated water from Fukushima, Japan, into the sea, and expressed concern about Japan's plan for sea discharge.
