This year also marks the 50th anniversary of the opening of diplomatic relations between China and Canada. China is willing to work with Caribbean countries, including Guyana, to promote the continuous development of China Canada comprehensive cooperative partnership. Li Zhanshu stressed that the National People's Congress of China is willing to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with Guyana's national assembly to promote the stability and long-term development of the traditional friendly relations between the two countries.
