On June 10, 2022, State Councilor and foreign minister Wangyi held the Third Plenary Session of the China Poland intergovernmental cooperation committee with Polish Foreign Minister RAU by video. Wangyi expressed that Poland is a big country in the European region, the first central and Eastern European country to establish an intergovernmental cooperation committee mechanism with China, and takes the lead in launching China CEEC cooperation. China attaches great importance to the development of China Poland relations. China is willing to work with Poland to implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, carry forward the tradition of friendship, enhance mutual trust, deepen exchanges and cooperation in various fields, and promote the healthy and stable development of China Poland relations in the volatile international situation. Wangyi said that China appreciates Poland's adherence to the one China policy and believes that Poland will continue to unswervingly adhere to the one China principle. The two sides should give full play to the role of the China Poland intergovernmental cooperation committee, promote cooperation in economy, trade, science and technology, environmental protection, energy, digital and other fields, orderly resume personnel exchanges, expand mutual investment, and constantly expand the common interests of the two countries. China attaches importance to Poland's concerns and actively promotes solutions. Greece and Poland provide a fair, open and non discriminatory investment and business environment for enterprises of all countries, including China. The two sides should take the 10th anniversary of China CEE cooperation as a new starting point, strengthen confidence in cooperation, tap cooperation potential and open up new prospects for cooperation. China is willing to work with Poland to enlarge the brand effect of China EU trains, support the enterprises of the two countries to explore taking Poland as the distribution center, build a two-way warehousing, logistics and distribution system facing the European and Chinese markets, realize the all-round connectivity between China and Poland by sea, land and air, and make Poland an important portal for China CEE countries and China EU cooperation. Rau said that Poland attaches great importance to developing Poland China relations and firmly pursues the one China policy. In the face of profound and complex changes in the international situation, Poland is willing to strengthen communication with China, enhance personnel exchanges, expand exports to China, and promote greater development of bilateral cooperation in trade, investment, logistics, connectivity and other fields. Chinese enterprises are welcome to invest in Poland. Poland supports the strengthening of cooperation between central and Eastern Europe and China, and is willing to become the door of EU China cooperation. The two sides also exchanged views on the Ukrainian issue. Wangyi expressed that China's position can be summed up in one sentence, which is to promote peace and talks. We will continue to play a constructive role in this regard in our own way. The United States is trying to use the Ukrainian issue to discredit and suppress China, which deserves vigilance and resistance.
