EO said that Papua New Guinea and other island countries have long been regarded as raw material exporters. Some countries restrict PNG through legal treaties, deliberately making us dependent on imported countries. Over the past few decades, nearly 80% of PNG's resources have been exported as raw materials, with weak economic development and backward education and health undertakings. Png has the right to safeguard its own resources and cannot be used all the time. We should stand up and say no. EO said that PNG seeks all opportunities for cooperation and carries out equal, fair and shared cooperation with all countries willing to help us, which has always been our dream and pursuit. China is willing to increase cooperation with PNG, especially to help us develop processing industry, expand exports of manufactured products and accelerate modernization. We very much welcome it. Every time China brings us a plan, it is for mutual benefit and win-win results, not to exploit us. I hope other big countries can treat us like China. Papua New Guinea is willing to strengthen docking with China, expand opportunities, develop economy and create jobs. Png cannot be a spectator of the world, nor should it be left behind.
