On the 5th day of the 6th five year plan environmental day in 2022, the national home event was held in Shenyang, Liaoning Province. Han Zheng stressed that we should adhere to the concept of a community of human and natural life, promote the integrated protection and restoration of mountains, rivers, forests, fields, lakes, grass and sand, delimit and strictly abide by the ecological protection red line, and strive to build a modern harmonious coexistence between human and nature. We should adhere to the problem orientation, deepen the battle for pollution prevention and control, and persistently solve the outstanding ecological and environmental problems around the people. Enhance the awareness of ecological civilization in the whole society and turn the construction of a beautiful China into the conscious action of everyone. We should adhere to high-level protection to promote high-quality development, further promote the comprehensive green transformation of economic and social development, and achieve coordinated progress between environmental protection and economic development. We will steadily and orderly promote carbon peak and carbon neutralization, ensure energy security, industrial chain supply chain security and food security while reducing carbon, and ensure the normal life of the people. We should continue to work together for the construction of global ecological civilization, actively promote global sustainable development, and make the concept and practice of ecological civilization benefit the people of the world.
