Serbian President Vucic was sworn in at the National Assembly Building in Belgrade on the 31st, starting his second term as president. Vucic said at the inauguration ceremony that his first task in the new term of office is to maintain peace and stability in Serbia and the independence and freedom of national decision-making. He promised that Serbia would maintain military neutrality and maintain good relations with neighboring countries. Turning to the energy and food crisis caused by the situation in Ukraine, Vucic said that before winter, he would give priority to the energy supply of Serbia and avoid the impact of Western sanctions against Russia. Serbia held presidential, parliamentary and local elections on 3 April. The final results of the presidential election released by the Serbian Election Commission showed that Vucic won 58.59% of the votes and won re-election.
