Put an end to the harm of electronic cigarettes to children
2022-06-01
In daily life, it is often found that minors, out of curiosity and following the trend, buy and smoke e-cigarettes, and deceive teachers and parents under the excuse that "e-cigarettes are not cigarettes". In fact, e-cigarettes contain a variety of harmful substances, which will not only lead to addiction among teenagers, but also seriously damage their health. What's more, some illegal vendors have added prohibited substances to electronic cigarettes, causing serious consequences. At present, the relevant departments have issued a ban on the sale of electronic cigarettes to minors. However, illegal sales by some businesses still exist. Some stationery stores near schools even sell e-cigarettes to students. It is suggested that relevant departments should strengthen law enforcement, carry out centralized rectification actions, cut off the sales of e-cigarettes for minors in a multi pronged manner, and eliminate the harm of e-cigarettes to children from the source.
