Wang Yi expressed that the two sides should make good use of the government consultation mechanism, constantly inject new fuel into this "super engine" and add new impetus to bilateral relations. The two sides exchanged views on the food problem caused by the spillover of the crisis in Ukraine. Wang Yi stressed that China has fed one fifth of the world's population with less than 9% of the world's land, which is itself a major contribution to the world. At the same time, China has demonstrated its responsibility as a big country and continuously provided emergency food aid to the countries most in need. China will never be absent on major issues of concern to the international community. Under the current situation, the international community should promote a ceasefire as soon as possible and provide a green channel for Russian Ukrainian grain exports.
